I downloaded the midihub editor and well, while I can appreciate the effort to build a GUI resembling the pipeline construct I personally like the BMT software much better. It may not win a beauty prize but after getting used to it makes it so easy to see what’s going on. It’s more text based, the fact that you can name things and then see your own names in the overview is so helpful.
Yes, different tools for different uses. I think they complement each other well.
