Using foot pedals with DOREMiDi MPC10 w/ Bomebox and dLive

Hey, I"m looking for help with a midi project. Is it possible to connect a DOREMiDi pedal interface to the host port on a Bomebox and use a translator file to send the following messages to a dLive?

Sustain pedal: momentary switch that unmutes a channel when pressed, and mutes it when released

Expression pedal: fader control of a specific channel or DCA

I"ve been trying to mess with the native software built into the MPC10, but I can"t figure out how to send the midi messages that the AH protocol is asking for. I assume this is where midi translator could help?

Yes, my guess is the the MPC20 takes simple messages and most messages required by the dLive are NRPN messages so MIDI message would have to be converted to the messages that the dLive recognizes.

In order to run an MT Pro project on BomeBox you need to purchase the licensed version which is signed. The trial version is not signed so projects created with that will not work on BomeBox.

You should be able to find the dLive MIDI protocol document on the Allen&Heath site.

When building the project, you should build it on PC or Mac using Bome MIDI Translator PRO and then route the output through the BomeBox to the dLive port. Once it is working, you can load the project on the BomeBox and then you would no longer need your computer.

There are likely a few dLive project on our forum if you do a search.
