how do I use two bcf2000 beheringer without software where do i insert the midi cable in and out please or must I buy a 4 in and 4 out midi with usb connect.
I have bome translator midi still, how please to use two bcf beheringer with protools.

Hi,
The BCF2000 has USB input so you can connect them both through a USB hub and they will be seen as distinct units. Alternatively, you can Daisy Chain the MIDI ports together and use a single USB interface but in that case the system will see them as one device so each would need to use different control definitions to differentiate the MIDI commands from them. I would recommend the USB route.
Do you already have a project file to translate between BCF commands and Pro-Tools HUI? Does the BCF2000 support HUI commands natively (probably not).

how do I use the hub I have 4 ports hub .
please help the hub of 4 ports it doesnt seem to work maybe it is better to buy a 4 midi in and 4 midi out 1 usb port and use 16 channels up.
Most usb hubs should work but you might need to enable the ports within Pro-Tools to use them.
Look at about 40 seconds into this video.
Your BCF2000 has to be configured as a USB device in the configuration settings.
