What’s the best way to send http commands through AppleScript?

Hello!

I’ve been sending cgi http commands to my ptz cameras using the AppleScript function, but my script relies on saying “tell safari to go to url ….” Type of script. I’d rather not use a web browser. Can I send those http commands “silently” or through some other means beside a browser? Would someone be able to show me an example of this in BMTP?

Hi Zach, Bome MIDI Translator cannot send directly to http web protocol.

Ok, gotcha. I was reading about using CURL on Mac, which is a utility for terminal to send web protocols. have you ever done that? Since Bomes can’t natively send to http web protocol?

I’m not sure, I’m sure there are likely tools that can do HTTP forwarding. I’ve just not experimented with any.
