Hi there, I’ve read all the topics about LEDs of APC mk2. Loopy Pro works excellent with this device, the only trouble is that the used inactive pads are too dimmed. Colours of the pads are corresponding to the software correctly, active pads are perfectly bright, but when you make pad inactive the default brightness of the pad is barely visible. Is it possible to fix? Maybe send a specific midi command on a specific midi channel that will tell the device to use brighter default backlight, thanks!
Hi and welcome to the Bome community!
Yes, for the 8x8 matrix, use MIDI CH 7 for the brightest LEDs.

Yes, but how can i set up apc to use 7th channel?
Tha APC-MINI is on the MIDI CH 7 for input bright LED’s you don’t change the APC-MINI, you send to it on MIDI CH7 instead of MIDI CH1. You can do this by using Bome MIDI Translator Pro .
If you are not running anything on Mac or PC, then you will need to look at other alternatives for MIDI conversion as iPad does not currently support Bome MIDI Translator Pro .
