Hi, sometimes, after a firmware update, some parts of the firmware do not work anymore, pages are not loading, and/or the activity indicators keep on spinning.
This is usually due to the browser still keeping the old web config pages in their cache.
Ways to fix:
- Restart the browser.
- On the misbehaving web config page: reload the page by pressing F5 or Ctrl-F5 / Command-F5, or by clicking on the circular arrow in the browser bar. This does not work reliably with all browsers.
- Most browsers allow you to clear the cache from the browser settings.
- Test if the cache is the problem by opening a private browser window (which should not use use the cache) or by using another browser.
PS: We are working on a fix. Firmware updates after 1.6 will correctly indicate to the browser to not use outdated pages.
