Make sure the Yamaha Alias is tied to your MIDI DIN port where the Yamaha is connected and that your MyAIRSTEP alias is tied to the USB port that your AirStep is connected. Then it would not let all Yamaha Messages through.
On the last snapshot you sent me you had both aliases pointed to MIDI DIN IN.

Your Airstep and Yamaha input would need to be two different ports for this to work. Plugging the both through MIDI DIN would mean there is now way to separate where the MIDI signal is coming from.

Yes, but since they are on the same port, the only way to differentiate between devices would be if they are sending on different MIDI channels. If you can program one of your controllers to send on channel 1 and the other on channel 2, for example, then we can rewrite rules to determine which controller the message is from.
