If you have a MIDI Fighter Twister connected over Bome Network, it will be shown on your local Windows machine as:
Hostname: Midi Fighter Twister
Unfortunately the MIDI Fighter Utility will have problems with this if you also have a locally connected MIDI Fighter Twister.
You will need to:
- Make sure there are no MIDI Fighter Twisters connected to network ports.
- Go to device manager on your local windows machine and delete the device named “Machine Name:Midi Fighter Twister”
- Then you should be able to open and use the MIDI Fighter Utility as normal.
This tip applies to Windows only. As far as I can tell there is no MIDI Fighter Utility that currently works on Mac using Monterey so you will need to be on Big Sur or earlier.
